This case study is on the effect of installing the UVMax™ lights for the AHU type air conditioning at Kunak Healthcare Clinic in Sabah. UVMax™ was able to penetrate and cleans the surrounding environment in the clinic.UVMax™ uses UV-C type lights to operate.

Image A shows the wall of the Quarantine 2 exposed with the UVMax™ lamps (with UV-C) while Image B shows the effect of not using the lamp after 2 months.

Image C and Image D shows another portion of the Quarantine 2 room where fungi starts to becoming more obvious when the Quarantine 2 room is no longer using the UV-C light from UVMax™.

A portion of the wall which was painted before shows the effect of UV-C light to eradicate the growth of fungi. In Image E, the wall was painted when Quarantine 2 room uses the UV-C light while Image F shows the effect after 2 months after stop using the UV-C based lamps from UVMax™. If looked closer, you will see the painted portion showed by the arrow has slight growth of fungi.
